I am an Illustrator represented by Jennifer Rofé at Andrea Brown Literary Agency.
My work celebrates childhood with bold lines, geometric shapes, and complementary color palettes.
I love to draw characters with big feelings and stories where children are challenged to practice social-emotional skills.
My favorite projects are children’s books and comics.All my work is currently drawn in Procreate.

Teaching a 4:4 load.Additional responsibilities include: Recruiting, retention, curatorial projects, and curriculum.
Recipient of the 2022 Excellence in Teaching Award.
Faculty advisor to the Illustration Student Group.

I live in Aurora, Illinois with my wife, daughter, and rescued greyhound.
Five [really interesting] facts about me. I have solar panels on my roof. I’ve had my gallbladder removed. Traveling on airplanes makes me nervous. I love coffee (just black, please). I’ll always stop to play the claw machine.

Since December 2021, I have been working on a monthly comic series titled, “Sticky Situation”.
Published by Scholastic. Found Inside Scholastic Storyworks 1.Each comic presents a challenge or complicated situation that a first grader might encounter in their daily life.
After reading, children are asked to discuss a practical solution.
